Remarks: Neolamprologus marunguensis inhabit rocky areas of Lake Tanganyika and will prefer to have several piles of rock in the tank. Breeding will take place in the crevices between rocks. Similar to N. brichardi, they will care for multiple generations of fry at once, making a breeding tank a true sight to see. They get along well with Altolamprologus, Julidochromis, and other Neolamprologus.
