Fire Uganda Hap

Remarks: Fire Uganda Haps (Haplochromis sp.) are native to Lake Victoria. Like most Haps, they are maternal mouthbrooders and fare well in all-male set-ups or harem set-ups, with 3-4 females for every male. They can be bred in 30 gallon tanks or larger, as they rarely exceed 3.5" in length. Males are bright red with yellow near the caudal peduncle. Females remain gray.
