Neolamprologus tretocephalus

Remarks: These fish resemble frontosa, however they do not grow as large and remain closer to rock formations for safety. They are a great choice if your tank cannot hold a large group of frontosa, or if you desire to keep other smaller Tanganyikan cichlids in the same tank. It should be noted, however, that they can be more aggressive than a frontosa which should be taken into consideration when choosing tankmates.
