Remarks: A stocky, brightly-colored Neolamprologine from Tanganyika, Neolamprologus mustax are a fairly uncommon cichlid that deserves more attention. They are bright orange (think N. leleupi) with the body of a typical Princess Cichlid. They can be aggressive towards each other, so a large tank is recommended, though rocky piles will help ease tensions.
