Remarks: Labidochromis sp. Mbamba are herbivorous mbuna that strongly defend rocky territories (unlike Yellow Labs, another Labidochromis species). Males have alternating bands of sky blue and black from their head to their caudal peduncle. Their dorsal fin is black with a thin yellow top. Females will typically be similarly colored, although not quite as intense.
