Tiger Nasuta

Remarks: The tiger nasuta is a beautiful, golden yellow member of the Ophthalmotilapia genus commonly known as Featherfins. In the wild, they can be found in the rocky shallows of Lake Tanganiyka from the northwestern coast down to the southwestern coast. Males are bright yellow and have elaborate pelvic fins that extend through the anal fin and end in bright egg spots. Females and juveniles are typically silver. This species is fairly active and requires a large space for swimming, both in the open and among rock piles.
