Remarks: The T-Bar Apisto (Apistogrammoides pucallpaensis) is the only species in the genus Apistogrammoides. They are smaller than most Apistogramma species and can be bred in an 8+ gallon tank safely. Males have iridescent blue-green spots throughout the body and fins, while females are fairly gray until breeding mode. When breeding, they share the bright yellow and deep black colors of Apistogramma.
