Pygmy Driftwood Cat
Remarks: The Pygmy Driftwood Cat (Trachelyichthys exilis) is a peaceful catfish from Peru. They have wideset eyes and are adapted to swimming several inches above the substrate. Their large eyes and active swimming behaviors make them excellent as an oddball in any community set-up. We recommend keeping them in groups of 3 or more with plenty of hiding places including tubes, caves, driftwood, and plants. These catfish are somewhat nocturnal, but they don't mind scavenging in the daylight either.
