Japanese Dwarf Pennywort (Hydrocotyle tripartita "Japan")Ā is an excellent medium-light plant that can grow in several ways - planted and floating. As a rooted plant, stems will grow up producing new lily-like leaves. Once the stem reaches the surface, or if the plant is left floating, the stem will grow horizontally and the leaves will float like lily pads. In a High light tank, dwarf pennywort makes a good carpeting plant.
