Yellow Hump Geophagus (Geophagus pellegrini)

Remarks: Geophagus pellegrini are a medium earth-eating cichlid from Colombia. Mature fish display a vibrant yellow color with red edging with males also developing a large nuchal hump on their forehead and red fins. A sandy substrate is necessary for all Geophagus due to their earth-eating habits.
