Silver Garra

Remarks: The silver garra is an excellent algae eater, especially for black beard algae. They come from areas of extreme elevation so they are very hardy and accepting of a wide range of water parameters but do prefer cooler temperatures. These fish can be very personable where some will attempt to "clean" your hands and arms when performing maintenance making for a very entertaining species to keep.
